Who is Paula & How can she help me?
Paula Pavelka is a Registered Nurse with a BA in Pyschology from UT Knoxville, & Certification in Health Counseling from The Institute of Integrative Nutrition™ in NYC & Columbia’s Teachers College. Paula spent many years as a member of the behavioral psychology counseling team for the critically acclaimed Peninsula Village outdoor treatment center, for behaviorally resistant teens and the sister facility, Peninsula Hospital in Louisville, TN. From the very beginning of her Nursing career, Paula noticed a distinct void in the education on prevention of disease and was surprised to witness the enormity of lifestyle disease processes; cardio-vascular disease, hypertension, obesity, Type 2 Diabetes, & more.
Now, Paula continues to solidify her medical foundation as a practicing RN in San Francisco, while continuing to educate herself & others on the healing benefits that can come from the Integrative Arts.
